The 2016 March of Remembrance Houston in Galveston, presented by Texas A&M Galveston, will be held on Saturday, April 16th, beginning at Trinity Episcopal Church at 2216 Ball Street, Galveston, TX 77550, walking down the center of Strand Street, and ending at Pier 21 (dock in front of Willie G's Seafood & Steak House) 2100 Harbor Side, Galveston, TX 77550. The first 200 participants will receive a commemorative backpack.

Ruth Steinfeld - Holocaust survivor from Germany
Bill "Chick" Havey - 94 year-old liberator of Dachau
Dr. Franziska Eckert - 3rd generation descendant of High ranking Nazis 
Rev. Jobst Bittner - Founder of March of Life
Rabbi Klaven - Congregation B'nai Israel
Prof. David Lawhon - Chair of Honor Students and Prof. of Holocaust studies at TAMUG and

2nd generation descendant  Dachau and Mautthasuen liberator 

Order of the Day

1:30pm - 3:30pm: Check-in, Opening Event, Special Music, Guest Speakers
3:30pm - 4:30pm: March to Pier 21 down the center of Strand Street
4:30pm - 5:15pm: Closing ,Celebration of Life and  book signing by keynote speakers and survivors

*Transportation details TBD for those who require assistance between Trinity Episcopal Church and Pier 21.
